Frozen Mint Lemonade with mint sprig and lemon slice

I had this delightful drink recently when we were out to eat with friends. For the most part, if I'm not having an adult beverage...I usually just drink water, but when everyone around you is ordering cocktails sometimes it's nice to switch it up and get a little something special!

The waitress was looking down at her notepad when I ordered my drink and she asked me if I wanted to booze it up at all...and then she looked up at me and caught sight of my baby bump (which is pretty prominent these days). Needless to say she was pretty happy I passed on the booze - that would have been awkward.

That being said, this would be DELICIOUS with a little bit of rum, gin or vodka mixed in (like this amazing recipe for Kungaloosh)! And you'd better believe I'll be officially trying that out after baby arrives.

This frozen mint lemonade is so super refreshing. You get great tang from the fresh lemon juice, the mint really adds an extra level of sweet, floral freshness and I love the slushy texture of blending it with the ice.

It really could not be more perfect for a warm day!
