Ingredients
8slicesbaguette
2teaspoonolive oil
⅓cupricotta cheese(I recommend full fat ricotta)
fresh ground pepper,to taste
About 4largefresh basil leaves,julienned
2teaspoonhoney
flaky sea salt,to taste
Instructions
Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet. Spray or brush lightly with olive oil and broil until lightly toasted. (Note: Keep a VERY close eye on the bread while it toasts! Broilers can move very quickly.)
Transfer toasted baguette slices to a serving platter. Top each piece with about 2 teaspoons of ricotta, a couple grinds of pepper, julienned basil, ¼ teaspoon of honey and a pinch of flaky salt. Serve immediately.
