Servings: 20pieces
Ingredients
20pretzel snaps
about 3 ½tablespooncreamy peanut butter
1largebanana,peeled and sliced into ¼ inch coins (20 slices total)
4ozdark chocolate melting wafers
Instructions
Spread about ½ teaspoon of peanut butter on each pretzel snap and top with a slice of banana. Arrange on a plate or baking sheet and refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour.
In a microwave safe bowl or measuring cup, melt the chocolate melting wafers according to package instructions (usually microwave for 30 seconds, stir well, and continue microwaving at 10-15 second intervals & stirring until fully melted).
One by one, drop each pretzel/peanut butter/banana piece into the melted chocolate and turn it to fully coat with chocolate. Use a fork to scoop it out and tap off excess chocolate and then transfer to a parchment or wax-paper lined plate or baking sheet. Refrigerate until chocolate is firm and set, about 30 minutes. Enjoy!
Notes
These taste great refrigerated or frozen! If you're going to eat them within a day of making them, I prefer to store them in the refrigerator. Any longer than that and you'll want to store them in the freezer.
